LATEST INNOVATION: Literacy expert Sharon Callen has created a whole new online 'Courses' section on her Teachific website for teachers. She hopes it will allow better access to world class experts in literacy and numeracy teaching.

The courses are also uniquely linked to the vast 'Resources' section of the website, which Teachific members already have free access to.
"I want this to be a comprehensive resource for teachers with relevant links to podcasts, blogs as well," Sharon said.
More features of the 'Courses' section of the site:
- Teachers automatically receive a certificate at the end of each course, linked to the AITSL standards & giving hours completed
- All resources, Powerpoints etc associated with the courses are included
- Courses can be searched through short video clips to gain a 'feel' for the presenter and topic
- Courses can also be filtered by presenter, category and year level.
- Users can choose courses that are either 'Ready to Go Lessons' or 'Extended Learning.'
- Each Teachific member has a 'Dashboard' where courses they are doing will automatically be saved for later access
- Teachific members have an automatic 50% or 100% discount on courses.
