About this teaching resource
Our Fluency Actionmark takes readers into the world of what good readers do to bring their reading alive! Paying attention to punctuation, pauses and mood, means that readers can really get to the meaning of what the author is trying to express. Our prompts support readers to create the pauses, mood and conversational tone of fluent readers.
Develop your students ability to read fluently by demonstrating the ways good readers coordinate the use of punctuation marks, word chunking into phrases and conversational reading.
Our Thinkmark will anchor the good thinking that you have demonstrated, and prompt students to practise good reader strategies independently.
