The 9 Quick Writes, Yrs 3-6, resource, is part of Launching the Writing Workshop, within our Reading and Writing Workshop Units. It is a brilliant way to start your students on living a writer's life. It has nine tasks that each have the same 'Reading Like a Writer' process:

• Read aloud
• Notice
• Have a go Quick Write (repeat)
• Share (repeat)

You will be astounded by how far this process will take your young writers.
